Description of Works:

Crediton Dairy is a fully functional live site, used for the production and distribution of milk related products and remained fully live and operational throughout the works.

The works have been phased to both meet client requirements with regards to new processing plant installations & also to ease the pressure and effect of the works on the on-going operations of the site.

Refurbishment Works

  • Removal of all existing stores, racking and client goods.
  • Electrical, mechanical & fire alarm disconnections & re-routing of existing services.
  • Temporary weatherproofing and covering to services to remaining live.
  • Removal of asbestos sheeting.
  • Removal of existing purlins and replacement with new.
  • New roof cladding & guttering installation.
  • Internal demolitions & drainage works.
  • Installation of internal stainless steel kerbs.
  • Installation of new hygienic food-safe internal wall linings and ceilings.
  • Installation of new tile floor coverings.
  • Installation of external cladding rails & cladding.
  • New door installation.
  • Mechanical & Electrical works.

Demolitions & New Build Works

  • Disconnections/rerouting of all affected mechanical & electrical services.
  • Removal of the existing canopy roof sheeting.
  • Demolition of the existing structural steel frame & cladding.
  • Cutting & removal of the existing slab Civils, groundworks & new drainage including adaptions to, and repairs to existing drainage systems.
  • Erection of steel portal frame structure.
  • External roof & wall cladding, including guttering & downpipes.
  • Installation of internal stainless steel kerbs. Installation of new internal hygienic food-safe wall linings and ceilings.
  • Installation of new polished concrete floor.
  • Installation of external cladding rails & cladding.
  • New doors installation – including dock levelling system.
  • Mechanical & Electrical works.
  • Site & landscaping works.
